On simplicity

I keep coming back to this idea that the best tools are the ones that get out of your way. A text editor that opens instantly. A framework that doesn’t make you think about build configuration. A CSS approach that maps directly to what you see.

There’s a certain joy in removing things. Every dependency you drop is one less thing that can break, one less thing to update, one less thing to understand.

The hard part is knowing what to keep.
