Dieter Rams had it right: weniger, aber besser. Less, but better. Every feature you don’t build is one less thing to maintain, document, and explain.
The feature trap
It’s tempting to add “just one more thing.” But each addition carries hidden weight — more surface area for bugs, more cognitive load for users, more code to keep working as everything around it changes.
The discipline isn’t in building more. It’s in knowing when to stop.
